SBM (Stephen Bennett Ministries) has been helping individuals for over ten years to understand the truth about homosexuality from a biblical and practical perspective. SBM provides support and resources for men and women who are struggling with unwanted same-sex attraction, as well as support, biblical resources, encouragement and hope for parents, family members and friends with homosexual loved ones.

The ministry was founded ten years ago (2000) by Stephen and Irene Bennett, husband and wife, with National Offices located in the heart of New England in Huntington, Connecticut. Stephen and Irene have two beautiful children, a boy and a girl. The Bennett's have a passion and calling to reach the homosexual man and woman with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to share the unwavering truth that complete change is completely possible for those individuals desiring such.

Stephen, 46 years old, is a former homosexual. He lived as an active homosexual for over 11 years, and struggled most of his life with same-sex attraction. In 1990, Stephen, happy with lifestyle and in a committed "gay" relationship for several years, was lovingly confronted by a Christian with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Two years later, he was born again and completely surrendered his life to the Lord. He would never be the same again. He left his male partner and began his new walk with Christ. Stephen and Irene began dating later that year in October of 1992 and the two married the following year in June. Today, over 18 years later, Stephen no longer struggles whatsoever with homosexuality. He shares his story of freedom and change at churches, conferences, events and in the media worldwide, and helps other individuals to achieve that change as well.
